Pam has taught Balanced Body and Polestar-based Pilates in Seattle since 1999. She is an avid bicyclist, runner and dog walker. She loves to share her knowledge of how the body works and moves. She is also an ACE certified personal trainer.
Pilates has given her the core strength, agility and balance to excel at the activities she enjoys. She is dedicated to helping others gain strength and balance to fuel their own adventures, whether that be walking pain-free or completing a marathon. She works with each student’s ability and encourages them to push themselves to accomplish real change in their bodies.
Pam’s Pilates Philosophy
Pam enjoys promoting lifestyle fitness to a wide variety of individuals. Giving people the tools and motivation to consider how age and habits affect their bodies is a strong passion of hers. As a prior competitive athlete working a FT job, she put together programs to fit into her routine to maintain a strong work ethic, a healthy mind and a fit body. This program and the education she has attained, gave her the tools that she shared with 100s of individuals to insure injury free training and increased stamina.
Her experience of lifetime fitness as our bodies’ age and change helps students adapt the exercises to their range of motion, re-pattern old habits and move through their limitations. She likes to focus on strength, balance and coordination in her classes. She appreciates feedback and input on what you are feeling in class. She finds that a good sense of humor and compassion encourages people to recognize their abilities and become responsible for taking care of themselves. She has a high level of energy and love of activity which she feels gives herself the motivation to have a successful business and repeating clientele.
